About
The selected works, among the many submitted, stood up for a number of reasons. Sme for the strengh of the concept, other for the story, other for the humor, other for the attention for detail, other fpr the stroke, composition or the use of colour. All the selected works surprised us in some way and managed to grab our eye. (…) We are all very grateful for the opportunity of being part of the jury of Ilustrarte. It mad us think about and judge the work of so many artists and it gave us the opportunity to award 4 projects of extremely high quality. We decided to award the Grand Prix Ilustrarte 2016 to Violeta Lópiz (Spain) and special mentions to ilustrations submitted by Ingrid Godon (Belgium), Jesús Cisneros (Spain) and Claudia Palmaruccci (Italy).
