About
At first glance, Adrien Parlange give us a set of “subjective” images, with vivid and elegant illustrations, enough to simply turn the pages with pleasure and curiosity. But it does not stop there. A ribbon, normally used as a marker, can be manipulated by the reader to obtain the desired shape and complete each image off page. In playing with the framing of the image, the author assigns the ribbon a different role on each page: a snake’s tongue, the string that holds the balloon, tea coming out of the teapot, a loose lace, a lightning, etc.
